‘Three Textures is a delightfully original and artistic work featuring irregular meters and exciting rhythms in the Intrada, which were a thrill to play. There was a rewarding discovery in the connection between the piano and the violin, as well as in the hidden poetic meaning embedded within the notes of Soliloquy. The Trio serves as a magnificent conclusion that ties everything together. It was a true honour to be given an opportunity to perform the piece for the premiere.’
